Clarity of Mind Psychology is based in the Hawkesbury LGA, New South Wales. We accept telehealth referrals from all localities. We offer psychological intervention to children, adolescents and adults. We welcome GP referrals, NDIS self-managed/plan-managed clients and provide support to parents and parents-to-be.
Bryce Thompson, founder of Clarity of Mind Psychology is a Registered Psychologist with experience working within the clinical, disability and educational sectors, supporting children, adolescents, adults and the elderly with attributable underlying mental health and challenging behaviours, various impairments, life challenges and neuro-developmental impairments, to improve quality of life, lifestyle satisfaction and general mental health of his clients.
Bryce has a strong passion for supporting and advocating for children and families to bolster strong familial relationships and support networks to reduce the impact of mental health challenges and family breakdown. Using various evidenced-based techniques. Bryce tailors intervention based on client disclosure and personality style using various evidence-based approaches ranging from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Choice Theory, Interpersonal Psychotherapy to Feedback Informed Therapy to ensure best outcomes and growth for his clients.
Bryce provides Face to Face (unfortunately not presently due to Covid-19) and Telehealth consultations, parent support and coaching, various forms of assessments and screening (Social, Behavioural, Emotional, Cognitive, Academic) in addition to various forms of skill development interventions (social, adaptive, emotional).
Given perinatal and post-partum care are important aspects to improve the lifelong outcomes of children and their caregivers, our goal is to assist new and experienced parents with pregnancy and parenthood to improve the relationship quality between child and parent(s), whilst preparing and developing new skills to assist with the transition and changes associated with a change in family dynamics. All children are different and have their needs which need to be met, and this is were we can assist you in developing an action plan to meet these needs.
With a tailored person-centered approach to intervention, clients develop faster and longer lasting outcomes which provides individuals with practical tools to enhance their unique strengths to thrive in life.
At Clarity of Mind Psychology, we are bound by the APS Code of Ethics and actively undertake associated professional education. We offer a safe and neutral space in combination with our down to earth approaches to improve client outcomes by providing them with practical and user friendly strategies and solutions to make improvements in their lives.
We offer both direct (face to face) and virtual counselling services (using secure online software). Currently, we are not seeing Face-to-Face clients, with virtual and telehealth counselling available Monday through to Saturday.
