Appointment Bookings – Terms and Conditions
In booking a consultation via our online portal you agree to these terms and conditions:
- Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled up until 24 hours prior to the scheduled consultation. Booking changes within 24 hours will incur a fee of $90. By scheduling an appointment, you agree to pay this fee ($90) should you cancel or reschedule the appointment within 24 hours of its time.
- Not showing up to booked appointments will incur a full session fee, charged to your nominated credit card on our system (associated fees at the time of non-attendance). There will be no refunds for not showing up to your appointments for any reason.
- Medicare rebates will be payable as per Medicare eligibility rules. It is the responsibility of the person scheduling the appointment to ensure they understand whether they are eligible for a rebate under a Mental Health or Chronic Health Management Plan. The Medicare rebate will be claimed after your session has finished.
- Private Health rebates are to be claimed by the client once Clarity of Mind provide a receipt to said client.
- Clarity of Mind Psychology provides Better Access – mental health care rebates under Medicare if referred by a GP, Paediatrician or Psychiatrist, and accompanied by a Mental Health Care Plan. It is the responsibility of the person scheduling the appointment to check whether private health rebates are available for psychology and/or counselling, in which they will need to claim rebate themselves as mentioned in point 3.
- In booking a consultation via the online booking portal or by phone/email, you are considered to have agreed to the terms and conditions as stated above.
- There are no refunds for late cancellations under conditions mentioned in point 1.
- Fees and charges are subject to change at any time in line with business/funding needs. When fees are reduced, clients will not be notified. When fees increase, both new and current clients will be notified accordingly.
